The Cradle to Cradle Product Innovation Institute starts cooperating with the PrintTheChange Cooperative
CPII and PtCC decided to cooperate in order to motivate, support and help printers to become sustainable and circular. The two organizations have set themselves the goal of accelerating the transformation of the printing industry.
This means, that the Cradle to Cradle Product Innovation Institute recommends printers to join the PrintTheChange Cooperative to get support for their transformation to a circular and healthy company.
They have agreed to collaborate and support each other in future communication campaigns and events.
Network for a future proof printing industry
The Print The Change eG is a pan-European cooperative of printing companies that produce in accordance with the Cradle to Cradle principle: passionate pioneers in eco-friendly printing.The PrintTheChange Cooperative is a cooperation to drive the development of sustainable, circular printed products. To achieve this, the cooperative is guided by the Cradle to Cradle® method.
The vision is to change the whole industry into a more sustainable and into a completely circular economy. Therefor the cooperative is looking for more printers to join and to adopt this way of production.
The cooperative provides a turnkey solution for successful Cradle to Cradle Certified® certification.
For the moment three printers are part of the cooperative. All three members do have as well a Cradle to Cradle Certified® certificate on level gold and silver. No other printer in the world does possess a Cradle to Cradle Certified® certificate on level gold.

gugler* receives Cradle to Cradle GOLD
In 2011, gugler* in Melk/Austria was the first printing company worldwide to offer Cradle to Cradle Certified™ print products. In the meantime, the company has been able to have a total of 40 materials certified, all of which meet the highest quality criteria in terms of health and ecology. For this reason, gugler* was awarded the Cradle to Cradle certificate in GOLD for the first time this year – a particularly valuable ecological sign of outstanding sustainable entrepreneurship.
